Correction, correction!!
Speaking about messy imperfection, I have a big apology to my readers and to Ruth Behar. First, I apologize to my email subscribers for sending this correction email. You should not have to receive a second email just because the editor screwed up, and not in a minor way.
In today’s post, I reference with great admiration Ruth Behar’s book The Vulnerable Observer. However, somehow (?) I referenced it with the name of my Substack: The Vulnerable Advocate.
I am particularly embarrassed because two years ago, I asked Ruth if I could use her book’s title for my pub. She responded that she did not want me to use the book’s name, but was content if I came up with a variation, which then I did.
I hope today’s post will make you wish to read Ruth’s book, The Vulnerable Observer. Find it here: https://www.beacon.org/The-Vulnerable-Observer-P1871.aspx
If the book's cost makes you hesitate to buy, DM me, and I will consider purchasing the e-version for you. I believe in Ruth’s discoveries.
~ Charles
